I live near the gulf coast of Florida where fish are plentiful, but none are as colorful as this one! It was fun choosing the fabrics for each piece.

I created this colorful original fish art quilt with high quality cotton fabric and wool batting. I always start creating my animals with the eyes so that the personality of the animal is apparent before I choose the fabrics and colors to use for the rest of the quilt. I zig-zag around all of the pieces with invisible thread to get the unique look and texture. This is a great addition to any beach home!

This 24 in x 20 in wall art is framed with a simple black 3/4 inch frame with plexiglass on the front. This protects the quilt from dust and wear. This is a one-of-a-kind original art.
