This small giraffe art quilt was constructed with high quality cotton fabric and wool batting. I zig-zag around all of the pieces with invisible thread on my sewing machine to get the unique look. I always start creating my animals with the eyes so that the personality of the animal is apparent before I choose the fabrics and colors to use for the rest of the quilt. This small giraffe quilt is framed so that it can be placed on a shelf or hung on a wall. It is framed with a simple black 3/4 inch frame with plexiglass on the front. This protects the quilt from dust and wear. This is a unique, one of a kind art quilt.
